Can I have a personal and a company account? Yes, under one sign-in — and how the two stay apart.
Yes. One sign-in — the same Apple, Google, Microsoft or email — can hold your own personal Chui account and one account for each company you have been invited into. Accepting a company invitation adds the company account beside yours; it does not move or change your personal one. Each account is a whole Chui of its own: its own meetings, people, calendar and plan. The company sees nothing in your personal account, and your personal subscription stays yours.
Switching. In the app, Settings lists every account the sign-in holds, with its plan beside it and a tick on the one open; tapping another switches at once. On a computer and on chui.io the same list is in the account menu in the corner. Somebody with one account sees no list at all. get_account(), asked by a connected assistant, answers for every account the sign-in holds. Signing out and back in reopens the account used last.
A meeting stays in the account it was started in. Switching in the middle of a recording, or before it has finished going up, does not move it: it lands where it began.
The watch records into the account that was open on the phone when the recording started. For somebody with more than one account the watch face says which one, under the record button and beside the clock while it records.
Notifications reach your phone whichever account it is on, and each belongs to one account: tapping one opens the meeting in its own account, switching there first if the phone is on another.
An assistant (Claude, ChatGPT) reaches every account the sign-in holds, from one connection. Nothing is asked after signing in: it sees the personal account and each company account, still kept apart — every meeting, person and label it reports says which account it is in. Reading (a search, a list) looks across all of them; changing something acts on the account that thing belongs to, and where nothing says which, the assistant asks you. A company account you leave drops out of the connection at once. Chui inside an assistant is what a connection can and cannot do.
Calendars are connected per account. The same work calendar can be connected in both; removing it from one leaves it working in the other, and Chui withdraws its permission at Google only when no account of yours reads that calendar any more. Connecting a calendar is the rest.
Leaving a company takes the company account off the list; the personal account and its subscription do not change. Companies in Chui says what leaving does to the meetings shared there.
